Our Wyoming Vacay: Big mountains

I personally think that the Tetons are one of the most amazing mountain ranges to see.  They go from such a low elevation to a sharp craggy peak over a very short distance.  With Jackson Lake in the foreground, it is quite a sight to see.

As we drove into Yellowstone Friday of our trip, we stopped at Jackson Lake lodge for dinner and to let the kids run/crawl while we soaked up the view.   Evan made some friends and ran races with them, while Emma explored the grass.  She was not a fan of it though…for when she started to crawl on it she looked like a dog about to pee…lifting one leg up to the side with every "step" she took.

Since the sun was setting behind the mountains, it was hard to get good photos without using our flash to light us up in the foreground.  So we also made sure to stop at some overlooks on our way out of the park Sunday morning for some more photo ops.
