Family portraits: Spring 2013

When we took our short family getaway to the mountains last month, we had a friend take some family portraits of us in the wonderland where we got married.  While it was mid-April when these photos were taken, it was still pretty wintery up there, so spring portraits may be a little bit of a misnomer.

Then, about a week or so later, we took photos for the baby gender reveal photo shoot.  This time the weather was much more springlike!  In fact, it was such a sunny day that we had a hard time finding shady places to take the photos!

Here are a few photos from that session that I thought were pretty cute.  I must add, however, that I'm feeling quite large already very early in this pregnancy (I'm just 20 weeks today!), so I can't say I like how large I look in the photos (especially the one below...I think I may banish that shirt from my wardrobe now after seeing how large it makes me look from behind!).
