Evan's first Halloween

This past Monday was October 31st, good ole Halloween!  A holiday here in the United States for kids to dress up as their favorite cartoon character, princess, or even scary monster and rush from door-to-door collecting as much candy as they can.  For younger children, it is clearly more about the parents' desire to dress their little one up in some cute outfit just for fun.  We were no exception!  It was going to be our son's first Halloween and while he could care less about trick-or-treating for candy, we had to put him in a Halloween costume.  The choices for wee little ones were not very plentiful.  We considered a pumpkin, as he is our little "punkin", but the only pumpkin costume I found seemed more for a girl.  Lady bugs and bunny rabbits also were more feminine.  Then we found it...and John made the final call that it was the one: a skeleton!  The bones even glow in the dark!  Since we used to call Evan 'Skeletor' based on one of the ultrasound images of his face, we also thought it was more than appropriate.

Maybe next year he'll be able to walk around the block in his costume, but this year it was all about the pictures.  Enjoy!
