Our little aviators

A few weekends ago we took our first trip to the local airport for breakfast.  We have done this several times in past summers, and it's always been a fun time.  The kids get to watch the planes take off, the sky divers parachutes fall from the sky, and John even takes them out onto the tarmac to see some planes up close.  Plus, the grill there has a pretty good breakfast.

This time we suited both kids up in the bomber jackets we have (Emma using Evan's old one), and boy did they get attention!  The grill owner asked to take their photo to use on their Facebook page as an advertisement for the grill.  And really, I couldn't disagree, they were both super cute.  Emma even let me put her hair in a pony tail and she kept it in all morning (I think having it in the hat helped).  It was a beautiful morning too.  Just cool enough to need a jacket, but quickly warmed up into a gorgeous early summer day.  Here are a few photos to commemorate the occasion.
