Pumpkin party time!

Following what was not a very fun Friday, we did have a great Saturday as we headed out to the local pumpkin patch "party" as a surprise for Evan.  He was so excited when he saw it, and must have remembered some of it from last year, because he wanted to ride the cars right away!

We got twice as many tickets this year, and Evan got to ride his favorites from last year (most twice) as well as do some new things that he saw and wanted to try, such as a different bouncing castle (with a  big slide on the back, but once you went down it your turn was over) and an inflated pumpkin that had balloons in it that blew around in the air circulation.

It was a steep slide, but Evan loved it!

My boys having fun!

He was also much more able to pick up the pumpkins and load them into the wagon than he was last year. We ended up picking out a small pumpkin, though, since we didn't have enough tickets left to buy one of these big ones he picked out.

Emma was bothered by the fact that she had to stay in the stroller most of the time.  We did get her out of the stroller for a few photo ops though. Last year she slept through the whole outing, but this time she was awake and wanting to get out!  Next year, darling…

Evan didn't listen to the "keep your arms inside the carriage at all times" announcement ;)

Peek-a-boo out the carriage window!
