Take this example of Evan going from me (on the couch) to the entertainment center and then back again. Love this aspect of toddlerhood! His baby steps are too cute!

Note: The reason I tell him not to get too excited at the end of the video is because we have a few blooper reels prior to that shot, where he'd come at me and build up so much speed (getting so excited he was walking!) and then lean forward toward me nearly falling at the finish line.
So now, as of last night, he just spent most of the evening walking all over the house; from the living room, to (and through) the kitchen, and back through the dining room. He's really loving this new skill he's acquired. What's even more cute is that while he walked all around the house he was making a "bububububub" sound with his lips (the kind that vibrates your lips). If he fell, he'd stop, but once he started walking again, the sound started too. Such fun imaginative play!
And by the way, here's a freeze frame from one of the videos I took yesterday that may explain why I described that his walk looks like a mini-Frankenstein in a previous post! He still does this quite a lot, as I think it's his way of being ready to grab onto something for help, or put his hands down out in front of him in a fall.
