Evan's 2nd trip to the air show

Last year we took our first family outing with our then 3-week-old baby boy.  I wrote a post about it (click here to read it), and in looking up the old post I was reminded of some funny stories that happened to us that weekend.  Thus, even more reason why I must continue to blog, as it's a great way to record the fun (and funny) times!

This year we returned to the Rocky Mountain Metro Airport air show and Evan was much more able to take in the sights and sounds than when he was a newborn last year.  We saw (and definitely heard) the F22 Raptor fly by many times.  We saw other planes and jets too.  It wasn't as hot as last year, but it was still sunny and thus felt warm on the tarmac.  Here are some photos to document our outing.

Uh oh...look what Evan may have figured out!  Caught red handed!

Awww, Evan loves daddy!

Evan with his hearing protection ear muffs...while it looks like he enjoyed them in this shot, he really just always wanted them off.
