New Year's Eve 2015

The kids got to go to a New Year's Eve party at a friend's house with us this year to ring in the new year.  Of course, they didn't get to stay up until midnight, but we did end up staying up until 10pm local time, which is when New York drops the ball for the new year.  The kids each had party noise makers and enjoyed blowing them to help celebrate the occasion.  Then they helped us count down to the new year.  They even had drinks of sparkling cider to enjoy.  I think it was the first time our kids have had a fizzy drink, so it wasn't a hit right away with them, but they did enjoy saying "Cheers" and toasting their glasses with us!  We managed to get a few photos before the ball dropped.  What a festive bunch!

Here's to a safe and happy 2016! Wishing everyone health and love in the year to come.
