One fun game we like to play with the kids is hide-and-seek...and it's a favorite request from the kids to play too.
Of course, Evan doesn't quite understand the real objective yet. He loves to tell us where he's going to hide before we go close our eyes. John and I try to find good spots to hide though. We love when we can jump out and scare the kids too...Evan has a very high pitched scream when he gets startled. It's funny and so cute! Then we all laugh and the kids want more.
The other day after John and I had each been finding good spots, and even building decoy spots so it wasn't as easy for the kids to know where we were (we're running out of ideas in our small living room!), it was Evan's turn to hide. He told us he was going to hide under the blanket...so we knew we weren't going to be surprised, but when we came back to the living room to find him, we found hime sitting in the middle of the floor under the blanket. His "hiding spot" couldn't have been more obvious...it made us crack up laughing. It still does in fact....lol.
We played hide-and-seek again recently and he did the same thing so I grabbed my camera to get a photo before we "found him". He was just sitting there in the middle of the floor, sticking out like a sore thumb, and talking and playing under the blanket while he waited for us to find him. Kids are so funny!

This photo doesn't quite do it justice, since you can't see how (besides that toddler chair) he was the only thing in the middle of the floor. The "sore thumb" hiding spot...lol.

Haha, that is so cute. Nora does similar things when playing hide n seek. I wonder when they figure out that they shouldn't announce their hiding place to everyone!
